Fifth Housing Minister appointed this year – Almost more Housing ministers than homes built

Lucy Frazer, the MP for South East Cambridgeshire was appointed the fifth housing minister this year, yesterday. Before becoming an MP in 2015 Ms Frazer was a barrister in commercial law and was appointed to Queen’s counsel over 10 years ago.

She has previously held the position of solicitor general of England and Wales which involves giving legal advice to both the King (previously the Queen) and the government. As she is a Landlord It remains to be seen what her views will be on the renter’s reform bill and no-fault evictions and the proposed banning of section-21 notices.
